My inspiration is drawn mainly from whatever gets caught in my psyche. Music, literature, and people, all leave their imprint and, in combination, spark ideas or images. The strongest impressions are almost always in line with the human condition. Why we are the way we are, how we relate with others, human and animal, and where our place is in the world. I carry these ideas and images with me in a sort of gestation period in which half formed ideas become more solidified. When intuition tells me the time is right, I move on to the next step and realize them in my art.
